eneration+ (Phoenix, AZ, www.gplus.info) was formed with a specific purpose: to raise             the public’s awareness of complimentary solutions and natural medicines that pre-             serve health. “We take better health very seriously and are committed to providing             value within our pursuit of an improved quality of life,” states Patrick Buehl, the com-             pany’s president and founder. Buehl’s first involvement in the nutrition industry came             at the age of 10, when he worked for his father in an animal nutrition distribution center for livestock and small animals. When he finally resigned at age 28, he did so as the company’s gen- eral manager.
“During those years,” Buehl recalls, “I became intimately familiar with the power of nutrition via whole raw, and fer mented foods, coupled with natural supplements.” .
By 1997, Buehl had become “truly enlightened,” as his involvement in human nutrition grew extensively Perceiving a market need for a wholesale distributor of human supplements, Buehl opened the doors of World Source Nutrition that same year. In the fall of 1999, he accepted a position as regional sales manager for the exclusive U.S. distributor of a popular animal-derived systemic enzyme formulation, eventually becoming the company's national sales manager. However, it was during this time that Buehl became keenly aware of the need for an effective vegetarian enzyme formulation.
In February 2001, he joined another nutraceutical company as its vice-president of sales and marketing, where he was responsible for new product development, service, marketing and generating new business. One of his many accomplishments involved spearheading the development of a new enzyme product (Vitalzym), determining its proprietary blend, and successfully bringing the product to market in early 2002.
Having achieved all he could at that company, Buehl resigned his executive position and launched Generation+, building upon his knowledge and experience with enzymes in addition to aother supplements. To date, Generation+ has had remarkable success as it continues to devote its energies to formulating and marketing dietary supplements that include the company's signature systemic enzyme blends . Furthermore, Buehl expects his product offerings to triple by the end of 2004.
The following pages outline the bio-energy infusion process used in the production of three of Generation+’s products—Zymitol, Naticor and Digesticol—, as well as the benefits of enzyme therapy and the dangers of excipients (those “other” ingredients) we so often see listed on our natural health products. A balanced diet, combined with an adequate exercise program, a positive attitude and plenty of laughter, is the true basis for a healthier lifestyle. When such behavior is practiced consistently, people feel better and live longer. Enzyme- based products infused with energy can help you go that extra mile.
